Sailing Times for Aran Islands

Our Vessel - Jack B

We sail to Inis Oírr every day from April to October. The crossing takes 30 minutes and our typical departure time from Doolin to Inis Oírr is 10.30am, returning the same day at 2.45pm.

However, the tide can affect these times, and we will list our departure times for 2008 shortly.

Jack B Ferry The Jack B is our new purpose-built 15m vessel, capable of carrying 67 passengers and 3 crew. She was named for the owners’ parents, the late Jack and Biddy Garrihy. Jack B is capable of travelling at speeds of 15 knots.

 

 

Captain PJ Garrihy Her skipper is PJ Garrihy, who is a veteran sailor in these waters, having fished and sailed this coastline for the past 30 years.
